Hertz Europe Unveils New High Profile Additions To Supercar Lineup

LONDON, Oct. 24, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hertz Corporation (NYSE: HTZ), the world's leading general use car rental brand, has introduced a number of high profile new models to its Supercar range in Europe (www.hertzsupercars.com), offering customers the driving experience of a lifetime. Hertz Supercars provide customers with the opportunity to drive high end marques in France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, and the UK that would normally retail at six figure prices. New premium models added to the European collection include the McLaren MP4-12C Spider in the UK and Germany, the Ferrari F12berlinetta in France, the Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Cayman in the Netherlands, and the BMW X6 Drive 35 D and the Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE in Spain.

The 2013 edition of the McLaren, the MP4-12C Spider, now available for rental in UK and Germany, unleashes 616bhp, up from 592bhp in 2012, while the remapped engine, power increase and improved suspension make for a more exhilarating drive than ever before. In addition, drivers in the UK can enjoy the Lamborghini LP570-4 Performante Edizione Tecnica and other household names. Germany supercar enthusiasts can also experience the thrill of the Aston Martin Vanquish, Ferrari 458 Italia and the Maserati GranCabrio.

The Ferrari F12berlinetta, the most powerful high performance Ferrari ever built, has been added to the Hertz supercar range in France after receiving widespread acclaim during its launch in 2012. Additional supercars in France include the iconic Lamborghini LP 560 Spyder and the Aston Martin Virage Volante.

The Porsche Cayenne and Porsche Cayman in the Netherlands Supercar range (now referred to as Hertz Netherland's Dream Collection) have been optimized for sport performance, while still offering their drivers a luxurious experience. Additional models in the Netherlands include the Porsche 911, Porsche Panamera, Porsche Boxster, Bentley GT Continental, Jaguar F-TYPE and Range Rover Evoque.
