Hertz On Demand Expands In Washington D.C. And Montgomery County MD

The service is a pay-as-you-go system without an annual fee, providing members with 24/7 access to vehicles strategically located throughout the city. With a range of cars – from electric vehicles and compacts to sedans and SUVs – available both in parking garages, outdoor spaces and in 43 on-street parking spots, the Hertz On Demand fleet continues to be one of the largest and most diverse in the District and the greater Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area.

Hertz On Demand vehicles continue to be available in all 8 Wards of the District, and now feature twenty new on-street spaces in Dupont Circle, Farragut North, Glover Park, Georgetown, Columbia Heights, U Street, Potomac Avenue Metro, Liaison Hotel, Eastern Market, and New York Avenue Metro, through a partnership with the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). In Maryland, vehicles are now available by the University of Maryland at College Park and in Montgomery County in Bethesda (Bethesda Metro), Silver Spring (Silver Spring Metro), and North Bethesda. In Virginia, vehicles are available in Arlington at Marymount University and in Alexandria at the Duke Street Metro.
