The recognition comes in the wake of the hugely successful Apprenticeship program implemented for HGS staff at its Preston centre in Lancashire, UK. The program now being rolled across all of HGS's UK offices, allow contact centre staff to work towards a NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Contact Centre Operations. The 12-month program combines interactive classroom learning with online modules and imparts critical training in soft skills, functional skills in Math and English as well as awareness of Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
A significant development has been integrating the Apprenticeship scheme with HGS's training and employee development strategy - offering all new recruits the opportunity to pursue this scheme. HGS recently instituted a new set of Level 2 Qualifications targeted at Contact Centre Team Leaders. Additionally, graduates of the Apprentice program can now work towards advanced Level 3 Qualifications, further broadening their career prospects in the customer service industry.
