TORONTO, May 12, 2015 /CNW/ - Lock up those screams and get ready for June 21, Canada! Much announced today that some of the biggest names in music are set to perform at the 2015 MUCH MUSIC VIDEO AWARDS. Confirmed to rock the 2015 MMVA stage are multi-platinum alternative R&B sensation The Weeknd, multi-platinum recording artist and "Jealous" hit-maker Nick Jonas, triple threat Jason Derulo, and international breakout singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes. It was also confirmed today that co-host Ed Sheeran has added performer to his list of duties at the 2015 MMVAs. This marks the fourth consecutive MMVA performance for the multi-platinum internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter, beatboxer, and guitarist. The 2015 MMVAs kick off live, coast-to-coast-to-coast, Sunday, June 21 at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT on Much.

Fans wanting to weigh in on this year's awards can go online now to cast their vote for any of the 2015 MMVA Fan Fave awards including Fan Fave Video, Fan Fave Artist/Group, and Fan Fave International Artist/Group. Additionally, each of these three categories includes a special Wildcard slot. Viewers are in control as they vote for the fifth and final nominee (the Wildcard) in each of the Fan Fave categories. Wildcard voting closes Tuesday, May 19 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The winning Wildcard nominees, along with the full lineup of the 2015 MMVAs nominees, will be announced in the coming weeks.
