Higher Ed Consolidation Solutions (HCS) Facilitates Merger Between Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS) and Russell Sage College

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla., April 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Higher Ed Consolidation Solutions (HCS), a full-service consultancy specializing in college and university mergers, congratulates its client, Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS), as it enters into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Russell Sage College outlining the intention to merge the two institutions. This strategic move, announced today, following approval by ACPHS's Board of Trustees, lays the foundation for what would become one of the largest private colleges in New York's Capital Region.

HCS began working with ACPHS leadership and its Board of Trustees in December 2023 to conduct a comprehensive partner identification and evaluation process. Russell Sage College was identified as the potential partner after confidential outreach to numerous institutions and a rigorous assessment phase.
