Highfive Continues Support of Families Impacted by Childhood Chronic Illness
REDWOOD CITY, Calif., April 17, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Highfive, a leading provider of intelligent in-room video conferencing solutions, announced it will serve as the premier sponsor of a National High Five Day social media marketing campaign. All proceeds will benefit CoachArt, a nonprofit dedicated to the emotional and social well-being of children impacted by chronic illness. This is the third consecutive year Highfive has supported CoachArt and their families.
Approximately 27 percent of children in the United States live with a chronic health condition, such as asthma, cancer, and cardiovascular disease. Founded in 2001 by Leah Bernthal and SurveyMonkey CEO Zander Lurie, in memory of his father, Dr. Arthur Lurie, CoachArt provides free arts and athletics to kids ages 5-18 years who have been impacted by a chronic health condition.

Highfive will donate $5.00 to CoachArt for each share or retweet of the official 2019 National High Five Day "Virtual High Five" posted on the National High Five Day Facebook and Twitter accounts, respectively. To spread high fives and donate to the cause, participants can follow National High Five Day on Facebook and/or Twitter, and look for the "Virtual High Five" post to share and retweet.

Eric Byrnes, a former Major League Baseball player turned ultra-endurance athlete, will attempt to break a 47-year-old record set by Ian Colston, who played 401 holes (22 rounds and 5 holes) in November 1971. The 24 Hour World Record Speed Golf Challenge was created to draw attention and awareness to the increasing lack of youth activity, and to raise funds for grants for youth organizations across the nation. Byrnes will tee off Monday morning at 7:00am PDT at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay Ocean Course.
