The recently released SIA staffing report and rankings counted 224 staffing firms with $100 million or more in U.S. staffing revenue, down 7% from 241 last year. Of the firms qualifying for both this year's and last year's list, 75% experienced a decline in revenue. SIA research analyst Kevin Chen suggests fewer firms landed on the list this year because of declining budgets, longer sales cycles, and a more competitive landscape.

Highspring's ranking, based on annual revenue, puts it among the top 15% of all staffing companies in the U.S.
