Hilco Industrial Selling Large Capacity Coil Slitting Lines
BIRMINGHAM, Ala., March 13, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Hilco Industrial, LLC, in joint venture with Perfection Industrial Sales, announced they have acquired, and are offering for sale, the metal processing equipment from the former SET Enterprises, Inc. facility in Jackson, AL. SET is continuing operations at its facilities in Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. Also, the company intends to continue operating their Alabama logistics and rollforming businesses, either in the Jackson facility or at an alternative site.
This sale features a 2012 Braner 72" x .250" x 60,000-Lb slitting line and a 2012 Nova Machinery & Engineering 74" x .500" x 80,000-Lb slitting line, as well as material handling equipment, rolling stock and general support equipment. In addition, the real estate is available for sale and offers 62,500-square feet of manufacturing space with (2) 40-ton x 90' span bridge cranes and rail access. The building was constructed in 2012.
Interested parties will have the option to submit separate bids on: (1) the real estate and all the machinery & equipment as a "Turnkey" offering; (2) the real estate only; or (3) the machinery & equipment in bulk or piecemeal.
