The Dell Inspiron 14R N4010 is a 14-inch notebook, which uses a 14-inch 16: 9 wide LED backlit LCD screen with a resolution of 1366 x 768 LCD. It comes equipped with an LED-backlit display that reduces heating while shrinking the thickness of the screen to about 5mm. The machine is equipped with a metal cover that is lighter than the normal plastic material, but rates several times better in stress tests than ABS plastic.

And thanks to the LED as a backlight, the CCFL backlight completely eliminates pollution caused by mercury, making it more environmentally friendly than the previous generation. From other tests we can see that this LCD panel's brightness is relatively uniform, with none of the yellowing or darkening of images on the edges. In addition, tests of the screen's pure black capability were very good control, with only very slight white leakage.

The right side of the laptop includes a separately designed USB2.0 interface, audio interface and a DVD burner. Its left and right sides are both designed for USB interface, which is convenient for the user.
