Historic buildings in downtown Fredericksburg sell for $1.76 million in Nicholls auction
FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Feb. 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The auction of two renovated historic buildings in the cultural center of Fredericksburg – currently serving as home to the Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center – attracted a crowd of 120, including 10 registered bidders, and ultimately sold for $1.76 million. Nicholls Auction Marketing Group marketed the buildings and conducted the auction in cooperation with Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer.
Purchasing the buildings was Battle Creek Construction, based in the Washington D.C. area.
