Hollywood PR Wins Two Industry Awards; Lauded for Best Executive Visibility and Best Use of a Celebrity
SCITUATE, Mass., Dec. 16, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Hollywood Public Relations, a boutique agency servicing consumer packaged goods and services clients, was recently recognized by Ragan's PR Daily with two 2013 PR Daily Media Relations Awards. The prestigious awards are evaluated by a panel of experts in public relations comprised of the writers, editors and staff of Ragan and PR Daily. Entries were judged based on campaign strategy, creativity, innovation and results. This year, the awards program reviewed almost 300 entries across a number of categories.
Hollywood PR took home the award for "Best Executive Visibility" for designing a strategy for client Guidant Financial that positioned the company's Co-Founder and CEO, David Nilssen, as a thought leader in business financing. Enlisting TV personality Giuliana Rancic to help client Born Free spread the word about the company's recently established Colic Awareness Month and its first-to-market BPA-free baby bottle, secured the win for Hollywood PR in the "Best Use of a Celebrity or Personality" category. Among the contested debate over breast vs. bottle-feeding, Rancic was an ideal endorser based on her highly public breast cancer ordeal and surrogate pregnancy.
