Hollywood Public Relations Announces Expansion of Client Portfolio, Staff, and Office Space
PLYMOUTH, Mass., March 5, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Hollywood Public Relations this month announced the expansion of its client portfolio with the addition of Ovuline and JMATEK North America, LLC to its roster. The boutique PR and communications firm also added a new account executive to the team, promoted a staff member to account manager/media specialist, and has moved to a new, more spacious office due to its recent growth.
New Clients
Hollywood PR has become the agency of record for Boston-based Ovuline, developers of mobile apps that help couples conceive faster and have healthier pregnancies. Hollywood PR will kick off the new partnership with media relations efforts for Ovuline's iOS and Android apps, Ovia Fertility and Ovia Pregnancy, which have helped over 2 million women track their cycle and start healthy families.
JMATEK North America, LLC has also joined the Hollywood PR client roster, expanding the agency's home and outdoor consumer products client portfolio. The agency will promote the company's expansive range of portable air conditioners, evaporative air coolers and dehumidifiers.
Staff News
Melissa Parrelli has joined the Hollywood Public Relations team as an account executive. She brings more than five years of experience and insight to the agency from her previous experience as a journalist.
Melissa worked as a reporter for WENY-TV News in Elmira, N.Y., and Tiger Beat and BOP magazines in Los Angeles, Calif. She was also a feature writer for USA Hockey and TeamUSA.org, as well as an assistant editor for MLB.com. Melissa most recently worked as an associate producer for TMZ, where she broke celebrity news. She graduated from Boston University with a B.S. in journalism and went on to receive her master's degree in journalism from Columbia University.
Hollywood PR also announced its latest staff promotion. Brooks Wallace, a senior account executive who has been with the agency since 2012, has been promoted to account manager/media specialist. In Brooks' new role, she will be responsible for aiding in the strategic direction for some of the agency's business and consumer accounts, as well as offering media relations counsel to staff.
