DALLAS, March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Holman Boiler Works today announced the introduction of a new 24/7/365 customer service program called QUICKSHIP, which will provide next-day delivery of critical aftermarket parts for the maintenance and repair of boilers and boiler support systems.
QUICKSHIP is designed around a Six Sigma "frictionless" order process concept whereby customers will be able to order critical aftermarket parts online with the order going directly to the production floor for fabrication or to the parts department for packing and shipment without another individual touching the order.
"Our goal is to keep the repair process as simple and as fast as possible by making Holman an immediate go-to, one-stop source for our customers," explained Holman President and CEO, John Marrinucci.
The first phase of the program--called QUICKSHIP TUBES--will provide same-day shipment for straight and simple bent boiler tubes.
"Time is of the essence when your boiler is down with a leak," Marrinucci said. "Often the breakdown is unexpected and after normal working hours which can result in an extended loss of valuable operating plant time during the scramble to find, procure, fabricate and ship the tubes needed for the repair," said Marrinucci.
Customers can take advantage of the QUICKSHIP TUBES same-day ship process by ordering tubes on the dedicated QUICKSHIP TUBES hotline 1-844-QUICKTUBES (844-784-2588) by 10 a.m. (CST).
QUICKSHIP TUBES orders will include: Emergency Tubes, Straight Tubes, Simple Bare Bent Tubes and Simple Membrane Bent Tubes.
Customers may submit drawings or patterns of the desired tubes via email on a project by project basis, but they will also be encouraged to set up an account and provide patterns in advance so that Holman can respond immediately to a request. Holman will customize and prepare the tubes to reflect the customers' specific needs. Holman's experienced personnel can also provide technical support, on-site installation, and consulting if required.
"As a full-service boiler solutions provider, Holman is employing Six Sigma and Lean processes to change the paradigm in the boiler industry by providing customers with a new and more efficient means of operating," said Marrinucci.
The QUICKSHIP Program will be expanded to include other aftermarket products in the near future.
