Home State Health Presents Annual Physician Summit Award
Recognizes Physician for Clinical Excellence
ST. LOUIS, Nov. 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Home State Health, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Centene Corporation, has recognized Dr. Bhargav Kanani with the company's 2016 Physician Summit Award.
Dr. Kanani specializes in Pediatrics and is affiliated with Perry County Memorial Hospital and St. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.
The award acknowledges healthcare professionals for their engagement with Home State Health members, as well as the exemplary care they deliver. Additionally, the providers are recognized for their clinical excellence. This honor is awarded annually to one provider in Missouri.

- Establishing a medical home for new enrollees by promoting the member-primary-care physician relationship. In the medical home model, each person has a primary care provider, who helps manage all healthcare throughout the patient's life.
