Honda of Clear Lake to Relocate and Build an All-New $22 Million Facility

HOUSTON, July 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Honda of Clear Lake proudly confirmed that they will relocate their Clear Lake based dealership from Webster Texas (exit 25) to 2205 S Gulf Freeway, in League City, Texas (exit 22). While only five miles away as the crow flies, the all-new dealership experience will be worlds apart.

An 8-time President's Award-winning dealer for Honda, the Clear Lake dealership is well-known for taking care of employees, customers and the Webster community. It was less than a year ago that Hurricane Harvey affected so many in the Clear Lake/League City area. Several employee homes were flooded; however, with a true Texas spirit and within a few days the dealership and its employees overcame the difficulties and were open for business helping their neighbors and associates with their transportation and vehicle needs.

The facility will accommodate more than 1000 vehicles on 22 acres of highway frontage. The $22 million investment prioritizes customer convenience every step of the way.

The Honda Express Lane service drive is built for today's on-the-go customer. In the new facility, the upgraded Express Service will have more lanes and will be open longer--from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.  Additionally, making an oil change appointment or scheduling tire services will be a thing of the past. Tyrrell notes that flat tire repairs will be completed free of charge.

With twice as many additional service bays and more room to operate, the dealership's team of Honda Master Certified technician's will be able to respond to customer needs more quickly and ensure that vehicle repairs are completely correctly the first time, each time. Honda of Clear Lake will continue to employ one of the highest number of Honda Master Certified technicians in Houston as well as the state of Texas to ensure excellent customer service.

The decision to invest in the new facility and the community means a great deal to Tyrrell who has been the Managing Partner for the dealership for almost 20 years.
