Huawei Device USA Selects DDB New York as Creative Agency

NEW YORK, Nov. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DDB New York, part of Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC), today announced that it has been selected by Huawei Device USA, a leading global information and communications technology solutions provider, to be its advertising agency of record.

DDB New York's scope of work will cover strategic, creative and media functions to generate awareness for the Huawei brand and introduce its innovative product portfolio to the U.S. market.

The initial assignment focused on the development of a fully integrated marketing campaign, including the formation of a strategic platform, integrated creative content, and media strategy and buying, to launch the company's first smartwatch, Huawei Watch, in the U.S. The campaign broke September 2015.

The agency selection follows a competitive review among various integrated agencies.
