CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A select group of 42 commercial end-users recently participated in a summit hosted by Husqvarna, the world's leading provider of outdoor power equipment. The two-day event, which took place October 9th and 10th at Husqvarna's Charlotte headquarters, was a combination of hands-on demonstrations with product experts and a forum focused on best practices and the industry as a whole.
The event began with a series of product innovation meetings and discussion forums, including a key note presentation by Sebert Landscaping about the future of landscaping, with a focus on the influence of battery product. Day two centered around hands-on product testing and demonstrations. The event concluded with a premium racing event at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The response from Summit attendees was extremely positive. A sampling of feedback includes:
"The Commercial Summit was a great experience, great opportunity, and well-planned event. I've been involved with Husqvarna for more than a decade and am continuously impressed by the way they innovate and involve their end-users in the process."
- Tim Walsh, Davey Tree
"The greatest value of this event was to sit with experts across the country, and discuss what works and what doesn't work within the industry. I came home and applied the knowledge I obtained at the Summit to my own company."
- Jon Hinett, Lewis Tree Service
"The Commercial Summit was a great success and we have plans to grow this into an annual event," said Jeff Dewosky, Vice President, General Manager for Husqvarna NA. "Participants get an inside look at our newest product and learn about specific application for their business. As a brand, we get a chance to say 'thank you' and gain insights from some of our most valued customers – it's a win-win situation."
The Commercial Summit showcased a variety of new, professional-grade solutions that optimize operational efficiencies and ensure consistently superior performance, including:
- The new fuel-efficient M-ZT61 EFI zero-turn mower, plus the sleek and powerful new LC221Ai walk-behind model
