Hyperion Bank Approaches $600 million in Assets as Earnings Rise 44% Through Q3 2026

Community bank reports strong deposit and loan growth, national and regional recognition, its upcoming 20th anniversary and a Money Market promo

PHILADELPHIA, Oct. 27, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Hyperion Bancshares, Inc., the holding company for Hyperion Bank, reported continued growth and stronger earnings through the third quarter of 2026, with total assets reaching $589.8 million as of Sept. 30, up 13.5% from a year earlier, according to its Q3 2026 Report to Shareholders.

"Deposits grew more than 27% year over year, loans increased nearly 14%, and net income for the first nine months rose more than 44%. The bank – headquartered in Philadelphia, with a banking office in Atlanta – reported loans of $502.7 million, net of reserves, up 13.9% from Sept. 30, 2025, and deposits of $448.2 million, up 27.1%. Robust deposit growth helped reduce reliance on wholesale funding while supporting continued lending in Philadelphia, Atlanta and beyond.

Earnings and Shareholder Value: Net income for the first nine months of 2026 increased to $2.06 million from $1.43 million in the comparable 2025 period. Net interest income rose 10.2% to $13.1 million, while book value per common share increased 7.4% to $14.79.
