ICIS Chemical Business magazine has unveiled its annual ICIS Top 100 Chemical Distributors listing ranked by 2013 sales.
Germany-based Brenntag maintains its #1 position on the leaderboard with $13.5bn in sales, followed by US-based Univar with $10.3bn in revenues. Germany-based Helm weighs in at #3 with $6.9bn in sales but this figure includes chemical production. US-based Nexeo Solutions is #4 overall with sales of $4.5bn.
Currency conversions to US dollars for the ranking were based on year-end 2013 exchange rates.
