WASHINGTON, Feb. 11, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ICMA-RC, the nation's only non-profit provider of retirement plans exclusively for public sector employees, working with its local and state government clients, received 35 awards and honorable mentions in 2015.

ICMA-RC closely partners with clients to develop retirement planning services and products that deliver better outcomes for public sector employees. This includes ongoing input and feedback from clients through client advisories, surveys, focus groups and beta launches. This work allows ICMA-RC to develop local and government-focused solutions that have been recognized for innovation, technology, and leadership in education with plan participants both digitally — through mobile, videos, and infographics — and through more traditional channels such as newsletters, brochures, and integrated campaigns.

In partnership with those that serve our communities, ICMA-RC's education and communications initiatives have received more than 130 awards since 2010.

"ICMA-RC partners with our plan sponsor clients to develop award-winning educational resources with the goal of helping public employees build retirement security," said Bob Schultze, ICMA-RC President and CEO. "We thank our clients for their support in this endeavor and we are pleased to be recognized for our services and products as we serve the public sector."
