PASADENA, Md., June 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- ICS Learning Group Inc (ICS)., makers of Asentia LMS, a learning management system for facilitating a blended learning ecosystem, announced this week a partnership with DEED, the state agency controlling primary and secondary education in Alaska.
The partnership with Asentia LMS (http://www.asentialms.com) will allow DEED to replace its existing LMS platform to update the instructional technology used to provide training and certifications to all educators and staff under its jurisdiction.
"We've recognized the LMS requirements of organizations exactly like DEED," said Brian Kleeman, VP and CTO of ICS. "Which is why we set out to develop a next-generation system for providing our customers with a powerful, mobile-responsive application that facilitates all aspects of a successful integrated learning program."
A major concern for DEED was the migration process for transitioning their existing data and courses out of their current system and into Asentia. ICS's expert implementation team used their LMS switch-kit tools to successfully execute DEED's transition in less than 30 days with virtually no system down-time.
"Not only did we assist DEED with a seamless upgrade to an advanced, state-of-the-art system, we allowed them to realize a substantial cost savings," said Ed Gipple, President ICS. "They are thrilled with the service provided by our support team and we are excited to continue facilitating their LMS growth with our partnership."
