iDAvatars Among First 100 IBM Watson Ecosystem Partners to Introduce Product to Market
MILWAUKEE, Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- iDAvatars is excited to be named one of the first 100 IBM Watson ecosystem partners to introduce its product to market. The official announcement was recently made at an invite-only IBM Watson: Fueling the Cognitive Economy event in San Francisco, where iDAvatars presented a demo of its Intelligent Digital Avatar platform powered by IBM Watson.

Most recently, the Veterans Health Administration commenced using iDAvatars in its Virtual Medical Center for patients with diabetes, PTSD, and other conditions which require long term management and access to educational content. According to Daroga, "Seventy-five percent of the current cost of healthcare in the U.S. is related to about 20 chronic diseases, such as diabetes, COPD, and heart disease, and a large portion of this cost can be controlled by the patient making healthy lifestyle choices."

In addition to these first 100 ecosystem partners, there are approximately 250 more companies that are in the process of building Watson-based tools.
