IDENTEC SOLUTIONS Takes Firm Hold of Marine and Intermodal Market With Acquisition of Sattel

LUSTENAU, Austria, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- IDENTEC SOLUTIONS, the global leader of active RFID and industrial wireless sensor networks, announced today that it has acquired the assets of Satellite Telemetry (Aust) Pty Ltd (Sattel) from container terminal operating group DP World.

Previously a wholly-owned subsidiary of DP World, Sattel provides DGPS (Differential Global Positioning System) based tracking and telemetry systems to the global container terminal industry. The company has installations in Asia, Australasia, Europe and the USA.

With the formalization of the acquisition in place, IDENTEC SOLUTIONS' global marine and intermodal support team will manage and support all existing Sattel installations.
