IGT's Reel Edge™ Series received the prestigious first-place honor for Best Slot Product at the 8th Annual Gaming and Technology Awards. Presented by Global Gaming Business magazine, the awards were given out on Wednesday, Nov. 17, at this year's Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas. The Reel Edge™ Series brings skill to the casino floor. For the first time, spinning-reel players can stop the reels to attempt to create wins and use an arcade-style joystick to control the outcome of the 100 percent skill-based bonuses in the top box. In addition, IGT's Texas Hold'em Heads Up Poker™ was named a winner in the Best Table Game Product or Innovation category.

IGT continues to earn industry recognition with a fourth award for its Media Manager product. In Casino Enterprise Management magazine's inaugural Hospitality Operations Technology Awards, IGT's Media Manager won first place in the Media and Content Management category.
