In honor of U.S. military, Westgate Resorts to give away 1,500 free vacations to military families on Nov. 10

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- For the seventh year, Westgate Resorts and CEO David Siegel are continuing the company tradition of honoring U.S. military personnel and their families by giving away 1,500 free vacations at www.WestgateSalutes.com. Over the past seven years, the company has given away more than 20,000 free nights to veterans and their families.  This year, the program is being further expanded to give military the choice of an exclusive weekend in either Orlando or Las Vegas.  Starting at 9 a.m. EST on Friday, Nov. 10, eligible military personnel can sign up for a stay during the weekend of May 3-6, 2018, at either Westgate Town Center Resort & Spa in the Orlando area, or Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino on December 8-10, 2017. The 1,500 free vacations are for current active duty military personnel who have served in combat and their families, as well as Gold Star families.

Both special event weekends will feature first-class entertainment – Las Vegas guests will be treated to a special concert by country music legend Travis Tritt.

Westgate Military Weekend Orlando
On May 3-6, 2018, Westgate Town Center Resort & Spa in Central Florida will host 1,400 military personnel and their families. All attendees will receive complimentary accommodations in a spacious villa, free admission to Westgate's Ship Wreck Island water park, access to a military resource fair and a private concert from a surprise country artist. Last year's concert featured Grammy Award-winning country music artist Lee Greenwood (God Bless the USA, Ring On Her Finger). 

Westgate Military Weekend Las Vegas
Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino will host 100 military couples December 8-10, 2017, and provide two complimentary tickets to a concert by Travis Tritt, country singer-songwriter and Grammy-award winning artist, performing at the resort December 9. Military personnel and guests will enjoy a Premium Room and access to the resort's amenities, including the award-winning Edge Steakhouse, an on-site casino and more.
