InboxQ Adds New Features, Makes it Easier for Businesses to Engage Customers on Twitter

Web-Based Application

Originally available solely as a browser plugin on Chrome and Firefox, InboxQ has released a new web application at www.inboxq.com. Now, users who aren't comfortable with browser extensions, or who just want to try out the tool without downloading anything, can quickly launch a targeted "campaign" right from the InboxQ website and immediately see high quality, relevant questions they can start answering right away. Users will not only be able to get all the value of InboxQ via the web, but can also use the web app and extension interchangeably, as all data and campaigns will sync across both.

Campaign Configurator

InboxQ is also introducing a new, automated feature that takes the guesswork out of creating an effective campaign to find customers asking questions users care about on Twitter. The "Campaign Configurator" allows users to simply enter a few keywords that are indicative of the topics they are interested in, and those keywords are automatically expanded into thousands of "long tail" phrases related to that topic even if those phrases don't explicitly contain the original keyword. At the same time, phrases that include the original keywords but aren't related to the targeted topics are excluded which decreases the likelihood of irrelevant questions being matched.  The Campaign Configurator greatly decreases the time it takes to create a campaign while increasing the quality and amount of questions received.
