Incapital and Nuveen Asset Management Announce a New Equity Unit Trust Based on Bob Doll's 2014 Ten Predictions

BOCA RATON, Fla. and CHICAGO, Jan. 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Incapital LLC and Nuveen Asset Management, LLC, an affiliate of Nuveen Investments, today introduced a new equity unit trust – the Nuveen 2014 Equity Outlook Portfolio.

Incapital will serve as the trust's underwriter and sponsor, and will offer units to the public through broker-dealers and other firms.

Nuveen Asset Management will serve as portfolio consultant, responsible for recommending a portfolio of 25 equity securities for the unit trust, based on Bob Doll's 2014 Ten Predictions.  Bob Doll, CFA, Chief Equity Strategist and Senior Portfolio Manager, serves as a leading member of the equities investing team for Nuveen Asset Management, providing reasoned analysis through ongoing market commentary and equity portfolio management.

The Nuveen 2014 Equity Outlook Portfolio seeks to achieve its objective of capital appreciation by purchasing stocks that express the key investment themes of Bob Doll's 2014 Ten Predictions, which anticipate potential economic, political and financial developments that may shape investment opportunities over the coming year. There is no assurance the objective will be met.

The new unit trust has an initial offering price of $10 per unit, with an anticipated offering period ending on or about April 9, 2014.  The anticipated termination date of the trust is April 10, 2015. The Portfolio is designed to offer the potential for capital appreciation for investors willing to accept associated equity market risks. Based on informed stock selection utilizing Nuveen Asset Management's equity research platform, the Portfolio seeks to capitalize on investment opportunities not fully reflected in today's stock market valuations.
