METAIRIE, La., Sept. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Civix today announced the launch of Civix Consulting Group (CCG), a consolidation of its nationally recognized disaster recovery, community planning, resilience, and right of way practice groups. CCG will be led by industry veteran Angele Romig, who has overseen these divisions since their inception and will now serve as the organization's Chief Executive Officer.
"For more than 40 years, our team of expert practitioners has guided states, local governments, utility providers, and nonprofit organizations through recovery from natural and manmade disasters or pandemics, large-scale infrastructure projects, and long-term resilience planning and investments. As Civix Consulting Group, we're reinforcing and reimagining our commitment to that mission with a dedicated structure that allows us to serve customers with greater focus, breadth of services, and agility," said Romig.
Over the past four decades, Civix has helped state and local governments to administer over $150 billion in federal grants, delivering recovery, mitigation, preparedness, and community development programs of varied scale and purpose nationwide. Its expertise in balancing innovation with regulatory compliance has made these projects national models of success.
CCG offers government agencies a full spectrum of consulting services and technology solutions, including:
- Strategic planning and policy analysis
- Grants and program administration
- Project evaluation and performance improvement
- Right-of-way and infrastructure planning
- Technical assistance and training for federal programs
- Grant and program management software and GIS solutions
CCG will retain close ties to Civix, sharing back-office systems and infrastructure. Customers will see no disruption in contracts or support, and the same expert teams remain in place. With CCG devoted to delivering technology-enabled professional services, Civix is simultaneously sharpening its focus on software— with the launch of its Go Suite, a proprietary line of cloud-based SaaS solutions. With independent leadership and dedicated resources, the two organizations now concentrate on their distinct missions: one driving government modernization through software, the other creating lasting community impact through professional services.
"Civix Consulting Group represents the next chapter in a legacy of public service partnership," Romig said. "We look forward to helping our government partners meet their current and future challenges more effectively than ever."
