Industry Veterans Launch 42 Asset Management to Deliver Fixed Income Investment Solutions for Insurers

Firm introduces an insurance-focused asset management platform to meet the growing need for tailored investment solutions.

NEW YORK, Oct. 21, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- 42 AM, LLC ("42 Asset Management" or the "Firm") today announced its launch as a new insurance-focused asset manager, providing fixed income expertise through an integrated investment platform. Through internal investment strategies and partnerships with leading institutional asset managers, the Firm will offer insurers private credit, asset-based finance, mortgage, liquid credit, and structured product solutions tailored to the rapidly growing insurance asset management industry.

42 Asset Management is independently owned and co-founded by industry veterans Colbey Arden and Bryan Robertson, both seasoned investors with experience across private credit and insurance asset management. Arden most recently served as a Partner and Managing Director at Phoenix Merchant Partners, where he led their Capital Solutions strategy. Robertson previously served as Portfolio Manager at Phoenix Merchant Partners in its Insurance Solutions business.
