The company and by extension, its clients, achieved this important set of assurances through an intensive independent audit that was recently completed. The auditors did not find any exceptions in their report, which means that for each control objective, INetU met or exceeded the standards or expectations.

SOC 2 compliancy represents a broad-based set of Trust Service Principles put forth jointly by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (CICA). The principles define comparable standards of online data security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.  SOC 2 augments the SSAE 16 reporting standard that was not easily comparable between competitive companies reports because there wasn't an agreed upon standard. SOC 2 has rectified this by providing an assessment against standardized principles.
