ING Americas Appoints Ernie Zayicek as Head of Insurance North America

NEW YORK, June 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- ING today announced the hire of Ernie Zayicek as a Director, leading the coverage of North American insurance companies.

Zayicek will report to Nick Smit, Head of Financial Institutions North America. He will focus on transactions for ING's North American insurance clients.

Zayicek brings to ING extensive transactional experience focused on the insurance industry, joining from Nomura Securities International, where he was an Executive Director in the Financial Institutions Group responsible for coverage of the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Prior to this, he was a Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group at Credit Suisse (USA) where he was also involved in transactions across the insurance and reinsurance sectors. He has also held positions in the Financial Institutions Groups of Sagent Advisors Inc., KeyBanc Capital Markets and Bear, Stearns & Co.
