Ingram Park CDJ Searches Statewide for the Ugliest Car in Texas
Ugly cars can earn owners up to $10,000 cash or $10,000 towards a new car in San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO, June 24, 2013 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The search has begun for the ugliest car in all of Texas, and Ingram Park CDJ doesn't want contestants to hold back. Started on June 3, 2013, the Whose Car is the Ugliest contest invited drivers from across Texas to enter their painfully unsightly vehicles for a chance to win $10,000 cash or $10,000 towards the purchase of a new car in San Antonio TX. The dealership is combing the state for illness-inducing cars that bring traffic to halt - in a bad way.

Until midnight, July 7, 2013, Ingram Park CDJ is accepting videos, less than a minute long, that highlight everything the dealership would need to know about the contestant's horrifying automobile. In a fun-loving and entertaining manner, participants must showcase why their vehicle deserves the title as the ugliest car in Texas. Drivers may consider performing a customized song, giving a thorough vehicle tour, or dramatizing how they met, and grew to love, their hideous vehicles. Videos containing sob stories will not be considered, as this contest is meant to be lighthearted and kept in good spirits.
On July 8, 2013 voting will begin, allowing the public to see all submissions on the Ugly Car Contest website. Voters will have an opportunity to browse through all of the entries, and will be prompted to "like" Ingram Park Auto Center on Facebook before they vote once a day until the contest's close. Voting ends at 11:59 pm, Aug. 4, 2013, and on Aug. 7, 2013 the winner will be announced and awarded the grand prize for their vehicle's gnarly paint job, offensive exterior, or derelict driver's cabin.
If a vehicle's appearance frightens nearby travelers or if the vehicle makes adults double over in digestive agony, Ingram Park CDJ wants to see a video about it. Drivers are encouraged to get out their cameras, call up friends, family, neighbors and coworkers, and show off their ugly vehicles all in the name of fun. The dealership looks forward to finding the ugliest car in Texas that can turn an ugly mug into a nice sum of cash.
