With the theme "Pitching Taiwan's Best, a Home Run for Innovation," the Pavilion drew inspiration from baseball's values of teamwork and strategy to highlight the growing partnership between Taiwan and the United States. That spirit came alive as the Texas Rangers Six Shooters cheer squad joined forces with the Texas Rangers Youth Academy to open the event. The collaboration created a family-friendly space where baseball fans could explore Taiwanese innovations while learning about the importance of youth development, health, and education. Families joined in a custom "Friendship Handshake," underscoring Taiwan Excellence's commitment to supporting young people in the local community.
Visitors were greeted by FuBear, Taiwan Excellence's beloved mascot, whose playful interactions and photo opportunities brought a lighthearted touch to the tech-focused showcase. For those eager to see Taiwan in person, a lucky draw offered the chance to win a direct round-trip flight.
Performance Art Brings Products to Life
Cultural exchange took center stage with Dallas-based Artstillery, whose performers combined music, movement, and physical theater to interpret the functions of select Taiwanese products. In a single seamless performance, they turned technology into art — from the portability of MSI's handheld PC to the intuitive controls of Jorjin's AR glasses, the sensory appeal of Vinxper's wine aerator, and the relaxation of Makalot's massage belt — bringing Taiwan's human-centered innovation to life for a Texas audience.
