Insomnia Cookies' Eighth Annual PJ Party Returns with Free Cookies and a Dream Dorm Giveaway

PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 10, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bedtime can wait. Insomnia Cookies is bringing back one of its biggest nights of the year with its eighth annual PJ Party on Tuesday, Sept. 15, in honor of National PJ Party Night, the holiday Insomnia created in 2024.

On Sept. 15, guests who arrive in pajamas can receive one free Classic cookie* in-store at every Insomnia Cookies bakery in the U.S. and Canada. No purchase or Insomnia Rewards membership is required. 

Born from Insomnia's college roots and love of late nights, PJ Party flips bedtime on its head. Each September, as campuses fill back up and fall routines kick into gear, Insomniacs across the U.S. and Canada are invited to put on their pajamas, head to their local bakery and stay up late over warm cookies. First held in 2019, PJ Party has grown into a signature September tradition across the brand's bakery network. Last year alone, Insomnia gave away approximately 67,000 free cookies during the event.

MORE THAN A FREE COOKIE

PJ Party and its offers will be available across Insomnia's full bakery network in the U.S. and Canada, with 174 campus locations taking the celebration even further through giveaways, event decor and special in-bakery experiences.

At 149 campus bakeries, giveaways will include koozies, totes, pens, lip balms, sticker packs and Grace & Stella energizing eye patches. At 25 enhanced PJ Party bakeries, guests can spin prize wheels for additional giveaways, including Insomnia playing cards and trucker hats. Giveaways are available while supplies last.

Insomnia is giving one college student the chance to win the Dream Dorm Giveaway, filled with sleep, study and late-night essentials.
