Intelius Honors Five Student-Run Startups that are Changing Our World at the Kairos Global Summit
Intelius Entrepreneurship Award Recognizes Outstanding Student-Founded Companies
NEW YORK and BELLEVUE, Wash., Feb. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Intelius, a leading information commerce company, today announced recipients of the 2011 Intelius Entrepreneurship Awards at the Kairos Global Summit. The annual awards are designed to recognize exceptional entrepreneurs behind student-founded companies in the following categories: international, marketing, social impact, sustainability and technology.
As part of the 2011 Kairos Global Summit, the awards were presented by Intelius founder and CEO, Naveen Jain, on the balcony of the New York Stock Exchange. The Summit showcased 50 innovative student-run startups from around the world, and also featured a day of keynote presentations and mentoring workshops by global leaders at the United Nations.

In its third year, the Kairos Society is a non-profit network of the best and brightest students from the U.S. and around the world. Each year the organization hosts a Global Summit which brings together more than 350 student entrepreneurs and the foremost business leaders to discuss solutions to the world's most pressing problems.

PurBlu Beverages is the maker of GIVE Water and Energy, the innovative and healthy bottled beverages that allow customers to support their favorite local charities through a simple, everyday purchase. For each bottle sold, ten cents is donated to a charitable cause of the consumer's choice. Working closely with local distributors PurBlu has built a vast network of non-profits and charities making a difference in their communities. |
