IntelliCorp Software integrates with HPE ALM to save customers time and effort when testing SAP applications

IntelliCorp®, a global provider of Smart Lifecycle Management software for SAP® applications, announces that the newly released LiveCompare 3.5.0 continues to fully integrate with HPE ALM and HPE ALM Octane benefitting customers by reducing time and risk involved with testing SAP applications, and putting them on the path of zero application defects.
IntelliCorp customers using the integration, use LiveCompare to automatically search the HPE ALM Requirements Module for approved transports. "A number of our customers start their testing journey with a Requirement," states Chris Trueman, CTO at IntelliCorp. "The HPE QC and LiveCompare integration enables customers to analyze approved transports in the Requirements module much faster."
The integration also means better management of tests between repository and project folders in the HPE ALM test plan module, allowing users to automatically copy and compare tests. "If you have a large repository of test plans, LiveCompare tells you which ones are impacted and moves them into a project folder. To do this manually takes a lot of time and effort," explains Chris.
The integration between HPE ALM and LiveCompare will also automatically compare test scripts in a project with test scripts in the repository. "LiveCompare will show you if project test scripts have been changed or not and will ask if you want to update the repository test scripts," highlights Chris. "This functionality is valuable to customers running SAP applications and HPE QC because it ensures test scripts are kept up-to-date. Next time you need to run an impact analysis, you can be sure your test scripts accurately reflect what is going on."
A further enhancement to the integration is the automated scanning of Microsoft® Word documents. This is important for a number of customers who use this feature to save time and effort identifying transactions in word documents. One IntelliCorp customer reduced this effort from 60 days to minutes.
IntelliCorp will exhibit at HPE Discover, 7-9 June 2016, Las Vegas, and demonstrate how organizations can reduce overall total cost of ownership by integrating SAP and HPE ALM with IntelliCorp's LiveCompare software.
