The news comes weeks after Intelo.ai was named a winner of the 2026 Built-on Databricks Startup Challenge Finals, taking home a $25,000 prize live on stage at the Databricks Data + AI Summit in San Francisco.
As a Built-on Partner, Intelo.ai embeds the Databricks Data + AI Platform directly into its product, giving the company's five agent teams — spanning merchandise financial planning, assortment, in-season execution, merchant analytics and pricing — a common data and AI foundation to plan, forecast, and act across the retail merchandising lifecycle. By building its agentic AI solution on a unified foundation for data and AI, Intelo.ai can help retailers bring governed enterprise data and AI together to power agent-driven workflows and business outcomes. The designation follows a formal review of Intelo.ai's architecture and product by the Databricks partner team, and comes with a listing in the Databricks Partner Directory.
The Built-on Databricks distinction adds to a milestone summer for Intelo.ai. In July, the company was named a winner of the Built-on Databricks Startup Challenge Finals, competing against some of the most innovative startups building on the Databricks Data + AI Platform. Intelo.ai's product and engineering team was recognized for its work applying Databricks' data and AI capabilities to real-time merchandising and planning problems for enterprise retailers.

Partners complete an architecture and product review with the Databricks partner team before receiving the Built-on designation.
