Training modules, vendor communications, and strategy guidance were three topics that were most effectively shared via face-to-face meetings, a majority of study participants said. Meanwhile, benchmark, product and industry information are best conveyed by email, a majority of participants agreed.  Internal communication also is an important component of brand management for new products.  

The timeliness of the research project was apparent - it drew participants from 162 companies across more than a dozen industry sectors, including the pharmaceutical industry. The 54-page study presents a wide array of insights across a number of critical internal communication fronts. Key study objectives were:

• Identify types of internal communication mostly used by executives
• Identify preferred medium for internal communication
• Measure internal communication effectiveness

This new report will help organizations improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their internal communication approaches and processes.
