International Coach Federation Global Board Elects 2016 Officers

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 14, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Elections for the International Coach Federation (ICF) 2016 Global Board of Directors have been finalized with the naming of this year's Vice Chair, Pat Mathews, MCC (USA), and Secretary/Treasurer, Hilary Oliver, PCC (United Kingdom). Supporting 2016 ICF Global Board Chair Leda Turai Petrauskiene, MCC (Lithuania), Mathews and Oliver will work with a global leadership team that includes newly elected ICF Global Board Directors Jose Augusto Figueiredo, ACC (Brazil), and Tracy Sinclair, PCC (United Kingdom).

Petrauskiene was elected 2016 ICF Global Board Chair in November 2015. She is a Leadership and Executive Coach, trainer and coaching supervisor, with more than 15 years of international work experience in for-profit and nonprofit organizations.

It's a privilege to serve ICF in this new role, and I look forward to partnering with my colleagues around the world to raise the profile of professional coaching and further enhance the impact of our organization," Petrauskiene said.

Mathews joined the ICF Global Board in January 2012. She is president of Mathews Associates, a coaching and consulting practice dedicated to supporting leaders as they build productive partnerships, teams and workplaces. She is a registered nurse with more than 40 years of health care experience, including clinical, management and educational roles.

"It is an honor to be chosen as Vice Chair of the ICF Global Board. This year, I look forward to contributing in a meaningful way to promoting our goal of excellence in professional coaching as we continue to work toward the growth and evolution of coaching as an integral part of society," Mathews said.

Oliver joined the ICF Global Board in January 2014 and served on the Board's finance committee for both years of her initial term. She has more than a decade of experience as an Executive and Leadership Coach and more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of business sectors and executive positions.

"I have been privileged to serve on the finance committee for the past two years and now to be elected as Secretary/Treasurer. I want to continue to work to ensure that we make the best use of ICF funds for the benefit of all our members, in alignment with our vision and strategic priorities," Oliver said.

New ICF Global Board Directors Figueiredo and Sinclair were elected in November 2015. Figueiredo has more than two decades of multinational business experience and is currently president for Lee Hecht Harrison in Brazil and Executive Vice President for LHH in Latin America. Sinclair has nearly two decades of experience in the field of leadership development.

Additional 2016 ICF Global Board members include Immediate Past Chair and Director Dave Wondra, PCC (USA), and Directors Peter Barr, MCC (Australia); Wai K. Leong, MCC (Malaysia) and Bhaskar Natarajan, PCC (India).
