International Institute of Business Analysis announces fast track to new certification
TORONTO, June 24 /PRNewswire/ - Business analysts can now fast track their desire to acquire a professional designation when they obtain the new Certification of Competency in Business Analysis(TM) (CCBA(TM)).
International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), the independent association of business analysts with chapters in over 60 countries worldwide, announced the launch of this intermediate certification at its AGM in June. Applications will be available later this year, and the first candidates are expected to write the new CCBA(TM) exam in January 2011.
Candidates can apply for the CCBA(TM) designation after they have accumulated about two and a half years of business analysis experience within the past seven years. In contrast, an individual must have accumulated five years of relevant work experience within 10 years before he or she can apply to become a Certified Business Analysis Professional(TM) (CBAP(R)). Both designations require candidates to make a robust commitment to professional development and to adhere to the code of conduct for business analysts.
