International VELUX Award 2010 - Deadline for Registration Extended

COPENHAGEN, January 22 /PRNewswire/ --

- The International VELUX Award Extends the Deadline for Registration Until 1 March 2010.

More than 800 students have already registered for participation in the 2010 Award. By extending the deadline from 1 February to 1 March, the organizers wish to give students with semester start at the beginning of February a chance to come back to school and register for the Award. The Award challenges students of architecture worldwide to work with daylight in architecture under the overall theme "Light of Tomorrow".

The International VELUX Award expects to announce the jury within the next couple of weeks.

The International VELUX Award is organized in cooperation with the International Union of Architects (UIA) and the European Association for Architectural Education (EAAE). Students must register before 1 March 2010 to be able to submit their project.
