Interstate Hotels & Resorts Appoints Richard Tannenbaum to SVP of Sales & Marketing of the Rim Hospitality Division
ARLINGTON, Va. and NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., June 4, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Interstate Hotels & Resorts – the leading U.S.-based global hotel management company – recently announced the appointment of Richard Tannenbaum as senior vice president of sales and marketing of the Company's Rim Hospitality Division. Tannenbaum is responsible for leading the West Coast sales division across a portfolio of 70 hotels, and is a member of Interstate's global Sales and Marketing Division lead by George Brennan, executive vice president of sales and marketing.
Bringing nearly a decade of sales, revenue experience and insight to his new role as SVP of sales and marketing, Tannenbaum joins Interstate after eight years with Hilton Worldwide. Prior to joining the Company, Tannenbaum served as director of sales and marketing at Homewood Suites by Hilton, followed by manager, and then director of regional sales and revenue management support for Hilton Worldwide. In his role with Hilton Worldwide, he was fully responsible for top line revenues, RevPAR growth and index returns for 15 and 27 various hotel portfolio brands, respectfully. As director of sales and marketing of Homewood Suites, Tannenbaum received the "Director of Sales of the Year" Merit Award three years in a row.
