Interstate Hotels & Resorts Names Aaron Greenman Senior Vice President of Development for Europe

ARLINGTON, Va., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Interstate Hotels & Resorts, the United States' largest independent hotel management company, today announced that Aaron Greenman has been named senior vice president, development - Europe.  He previously served as head of business development for JHM Interstate, Interstate's management joint venture in India.  In his new position, Greenman will be responsible for spearheading the company's growing business development initiative in Europe.  He will be based in Brussels, Belgium, and will report to Leslie Ng, Interstate's chief investment officer.

Prior to the new position, Greenman was head of business development for JHM Interstate, Interstate's management joint venture in India, during which time he helped successfully launch the JHM Interstate platform in New Delhi.  Concurrently, he was chief operating officer for JHM International, a hotel owner, real estate developer, and education sector developer with operations in India.  Previous to his India career, he was managing director of AFEX Group where he was responsible for a company with 600 employees in various locations throughout Kenya, South Sudan and other locations in East Africa.  Earlier in his career, Greenman was a senior manager in real estate advisory services for Ernst and Young LLP, based in Boston, New York and Miami.  He earned a master's of management in hospitality degree from Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and a bachelor's degree from Amherst College.
