PITTSBURGH, March 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "I suffered from flood damage twice so I wanted to create an improved channel drain to protect against flood waters that may damage people's homes and businesses," said an inventor, from Staten Island, N.Y., "so I invented the Aly Drain System (American Drain). My design would prevent flood waters from flowing on a driveway and entering a garage or other ground level building entrance."
The patent-pending invention provides an improved channel drain system. In doing so, it offers a higher level of flood protection. As a result, it helps prevent a sudden torrent of rain or flood water from flooding the buildings at the far end of the driveway. It also offers an improved alternative to basic channel drains. The invention features an effective design that is easy to employ so it is ideal or properties with negative slope driveways. Additionally, a prototype is available.
The original design was submitted to the New Jersey sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
