PITTSBURGH, Nov. 20, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- "I'm an electrician, and I wanted to create a tape measure with a quick and handy reference for the proper phase identification in a 3-phase service panel," said an inventor, from Nashville, Tenn., "so I invented the CRG24 TAPE. My design also enables you to easily identify the key length measurements required to make 90 degree metal conduit bends when using a manual tube bender."
The patent-pending invention provides a specialized tape measure for electricians. In doing so, it offers a ready means of identifying the phase relationship for any circuit breaker pole location in a 3-phase AC power service panel. It also would provide a similar quick reference capability for making 90 degree bends in metallic conduit. The invention features a safe and convenient design that is easy to use so it is ideal for electricians. Additionally, a prototype model and technical drawings are available upon request.
The original design was submitted to the National sales office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
