Iogen Energy's Cellulosic Ethanol Helps Fuel Drayson Racing in American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron
OTTAWA, March 23 /PRNewswire/ - Iogen Energy announced today that its cellulosic ethanol helped fuel Drayson Racing's "Lola-Judd" in the 58th running of Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, March 20th. This is the first time Iogen Energy's cellulosic ethanol has been blended into an E85 fuel for the demanding American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patron.
Iogen Energy remains the only company able to consistently produce large volumes of cellulosic ethanol. The 500 gallons of cellulosic ethanol supplied were produced from wheat straw at Iogen Energy's world leading demonstration facility in Ottawa. The Drayson Racing "Lola-Judd" prototype finished twelfth overall in a field of thirty-four.
