IoT and Wearables Coverage at Strategy Analytics Expands with the Addition of Two Recognized Industry Experts
Cliff Raskind and Laura DiDio bring additional thought leadership at the intersection of Wearables and IoT
BOSTON, Feb. 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Strategy Analytics announced today the addition of two industry veterans to the IoT knowledge center. Laura DiDio and Cliff Raskind have been added to the roster of SA's lead analysts to add depth and breadth to the company's expertise in Internet-of-Things systems and Wearable Device Ecosystems, respectively.
Laura DiDio has joined the firm as Director, IoT Systems to further develop the Enterprise team's growing portfolio of Internet of Things research, forecasts and surveys. She has over 20 years of experience in the IT sector working with industry leading vendors such as Apple, Cisco, Dell, IBM, Intel, Lenovo and Microsoft. Laura brings deep expertise in cloud computing, enterprise hardware, virtualization, security and enterprise applications like Big Data & Analytics and Business Intelligence (BI). Laura will provide strategic advice to companies across the IoT ecosystem having spent the last six years as Principal Analyst at ITIC; prior to that she held similar positions at the Yankee Group and Giga Information Group. Laura will continue her success by providing SA clients with expert guidance and forecasting trends in the burgeoning IoT market segment.
Cliff Raskind returns to Strategy Analytics as Director, Mobility and will be the firm's principal analyst covering the growing Wearables space. Cliff will strengthen the Wearable Device Ecosystem (WDE) service by drawing on 24 years of experience in wireless and IT to analyze, roadmap, track and forecast the transformation of the wearables market as it evolves beyond fashion and fitness.
