NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla., June 11, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- iPic Theaters, the fastest-growing luxury movie-watching experience in the nation, announced that it has signed a lease with prominent South Florida/New York developer Dezer Development to build an eight-screen, 40,000-square-foot theater in North Miami Beach's Intracoastal Mall. One of three iPic Theaters under development in the Greater Miami area, iPic Theaters North Miami Beach will begin construction within 90 days and is slated to open fall 2015.

Acquired by Dezer Development in December, the Intracoastal Mall is on a 26-acre site alongside the Intracoastal Waterway, comprising 234,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and commercial entities, in addition to 1,500 linear feet of waterfront.

Yard, named among the "Who's Who of Food & Beverage in America" by the James Beard Foundation, has served as executive pastry chef in Wolfgang Puck's empire for nearly 20 years. In addition to developing the Tanzy Express menu, Yard and Seger will contribute to a new iPic-owned restaurant concept at iPic North Miami Beach.
