Iron Road Partners Expands Team with Appointment of SEC Veteran Jennifer Conwell as Director

NEW YORK, March 11, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Iron Road Partners, a leading regulatory consulting firm serving the investment management industry, today announced that former Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) exam manager Jennifer Conwell has joined the firm as director.

Before joining Iron Road Partners, Conwell was an examination manager in the Division of Examinations, Private Funds Unit for the SEC, where she worked for 24 years. In this role, she led a team of examiners across SEC regional offices, conducting examinations of investment advisers managing complex private funds, including private equity, credit, real estate, and hedge funds. 

Conwell was also an examiner in the SEC Broker-Dealer Inspection Program, where she examined a range of broker-dealer entities focusing on various issues including retail matters, financial and operational controls, trading, unregistered securities offerings, investment banking, and internal controls.

She holds a bachelor's degree in business administration in finance and investments from The Bernard M. Baruch College.
