DENVER, March 7, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Unpack'd Technologies, a Denver-based startup announced today the launch of its first mobile application Say Allo, a social discovery app intended to reinvent how people find and make new connections.
Marketed as a social discovery app, Say Allo "learns" its users, behaviors and attractions through artificial intelligence and machine learning with minimal user input by accessing user data through social media as a means to making compatible connections.
"Finding a compatible connection should be more than a left or a right swipe," said Unpack'd Technologies founder Zackary Lewis. "We want Say Allo users to spend more time having real conversations, rather than looking for them, which is why we've built the first application that uses a continuous learning engine on the backend as a driver to compatible matching."
Targeting a demographic not focused on by other mobile dating applications, Say Allo uses a sophisticated algorithm that leverages artificial intelligence and the latest advancements in machine learning and face-mapping technology as a means to learning user behavior, interests and attraction.
"It's like Amazon for dating," comments Unpack'd Technologies' CMO Jack Shryne. "The more you use the application, the more the application learns what you want – to produce more compatible results, the likes of which has never been seen in this industry."
Say Allo created built-in mechanisms to address enhanced user safety. Unique features like video chat, compatibility reports, and smart-swiping technology work synergistically to inform users how others have swiped on a specific profile. Say Allo also allows users to schedule a secure video meet-up inside the application, removing the need to share sensitive personal information like a phone number, while still enabling a real face-to-face conversation.
Conceived by serial entrepreneur and streaming radio industry veteran Zackary Lewis, Unpack'd Technologies has assembled an impressive team from a number of successful companies, including Liquid Compass, Ubisoft, Factory Design Labs, and Inspirato, and a who's-who advisory board consisting of the former Beatport CEO, Chairman of SomaLogic, founder of Spire Digital, Co-Directors of the Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health programs for the NHL and MLS, a developer of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), founder of BurstIQ and the CEO of Citizinvestor.
Unpack'd Technologies will officially release its Say Allo iOS app at a launch event on Monday, March 13th at the newly renovated Union Station in downtown Denver. The app is expected to be released nationwide later this spring, followed by an Android release this fall.
Say Allo's key features include:
- A proprietary compatibility index designed by Dr. Brian Shaw, a developer of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).
- A continuous machine learning algorithm that produces results that can be sorted in two modes: browse or compatibility.
- A safe and convenient video meet-up tool embedded within the app allowing two users to communicate without the need to give out sensitive information like a phone number or email address.
- Freemium app allowing users to swipe and message for free + premium in-app subscription options to view detailed compatibility reports, smart-swiping and more.
